What Executive Coaching Can Achieve

Leadership begins with self-knowledge.

As a licensed psychologist and behavioural therapist, I offer executive coaching at my private practice in Munich-Bogenhausen at a level that goes beyond classic business coaching: psychologically grounded, clinically experienced and confidential under §203 StGB.

Discreet, structured, effective.

Every process begins with clear goals and a binding framework. Sessions take place on site in Munich or online. No employer, no HR department will know what we discuss — the confidentiality of psychotherapy applies.

Leadership & Decision-Making

Gain clarity when pressure and complexity increase.

Making decisions under uncertainty, taking responsibility, setting direction — without losing yourself. Coaching sharpens judgment and strengthens decision-making quality.

Burnout Prevention

Maintain performance before exhaustion takes its toll.

High demands and sustained stress increase the risk of burnout. Coaching reveals early warning signs and develops concrete prevention strategies.

Career & Transition

Shape change — consciously and with a plan.

New role, promotion, reorientation, or crisis: career transitions are psychologically demanding. Coaching provides guidance for the right decision at the right time.

Communication & Conflict

Navigate difficult conversations without losing yourself.

Conflicts in the leadership team, with the board, or with important clients consume energy and damage relationships. Coaching develops strategies for precisely these situations.

Self-Worth & Perfectionism

Achievement without self-exploitation.

Perfectionism, impostor phenomenon, and excessive self-demands are common among leaders — and often go unrecognized. Coaching makes these patterns visible and changes them purposefully.

Work-Life Integration

Bear responsibility and still stay true to yourself.

A clear separation of professional and private life is illusory for many leaders. Coaching develops realistic strategies that bring together performance and well-being.

Understanding Executive Coaching

A structured, confidential development process for executives, entrepreneurs, and professionals.

The focus is on professional challenges — leadership, decisions, communication, career transitions — and the personal patterns associated with them. Executive coaching is neither training nor consulting: you don't get ready-made solutions, but rather support in developing your own solutions more soundly, quickly, and with greater clarity.

The psychological depth. Many business coaches work with models based on experience and intuition.

As a licensed psychologist and behavioral therapist, I also bring a profound understanding of psychological processes: how stress impairs decision-making, how early learned patterns shape leadership behavior, how perfectionism, need for control, or conflict avoidance arise — and how they can be sustainably changed. If topics emerge in coaching that go beyond the professional, I can accurately categorize and address them.

Who is Executive Coaching suitable for?

For executives, C-level managers, board members, entrepreneurs, founders, self-employed individuals, and ambitious professionals.

In other words, for people who bear high responsibility and seek support that matches this level. Frequent reasons: new leadership role or promotion, conflicts within the leadership team, decisions under uncertainty, burnout prevention, career transitions, personal crises in a professional context, as well as questions about leadership style and impact.

Yes. Coaching is possible in German, English, Lithuanian, and Russian.

For international executives, expats, and executives with a global center of life, coaching in their native language is crucial for the depth and effectiveness of the process.

Topics in Executive Coaching

Leadership behavior and style, decision-making under pressure, difficult conversations and conflicts, delegation and trust.

Additionally, self-worth and perfectionism, burnout prevention and stress regulation, career transitions and reorientation, work-life integration, dealing with power and responsibility, and dynamics within the leadership team and at board level are covered.

This is the norm, not the exception.

Patterns that appear at work — perfectionism, need for control, difficulties with delegation, fear of criticism — almost always have personal roots. The advantage of working with a psychotherapist: We can address these connections clearly and safely, without entering an uncontrolled therapy situation.

Process and Organization

For clearly defined topics — a new leadership role, a concrete decision — 6 to 10 sessions are often sufficient.

For deeper developmental processes or recurring patterns, a longer support framework is more appropriate. At the beginning, we define a clear contract with goals and regularly review progress.

Sessions typically take place every two to four weeks.

This allows space to try out insights in everyday life and bring them back to the next session. In intensive phases — before an important decision, during a conflict or a crisis — more frequent appointments are possible.
